Hi thank you, I was mainly wondering process? Is it as simple as just undoing the bolts (#4) all around the cover and pulling off then placing new gasket? or is it more involved than that. I looked in the manual and couldnt find anything

Here’s the pictures. The second picture has a red spot on the exhaust, it’s not rust but rather sticker residue, haven’t had a chance to clean it out.

Hi, my 1998 vmax is leaking oil from the top of this engine case cover. The previous owner replaced the stator but did not seal it properly and it’s leaking. I’m assuming I won’t need a new stator however how can I just pull this gasket off to reseal? I bought many parts but still wondering...
