How about a showroom condition 2006 with only 1700 miles in Houston. New tires, fresh fluids, carbs just rebuilt. Available now, needs nothing.

Had a similar problem, fresh carb rebuild, new fuel pump. Upgraded fuel lines........or so I thought. Turns out the fuel line from tank did not seal completely & was sucking air. Installed new oem fuel line & problem solved.

Thank you so much for this important info. I have been trying to troubleshoot ignition problems on my 1988 using factory manual. Using this corrected info, pickups are testing OK. Will now search elsewhere for the problem. Makes me wonder how many other screw ups are in manual.
