I put a 170 on the back because that's as wide as you can go without offsetting it from the centerline. Maybe it's just the new rubber but I can feel a little bit of difference in the way it handles. Feels more stable. My 90 still has the stock width 150 on it, so it's easy to make a comparison.

I went for a short solo ride on my 90 max yesterday and I'm heading out on my 92 today to get a feel for how the wider rear tire rides. We should plan a meet up soon. Does anyone attend the backfire moto nights in Seattle? That's coming up this Wednesday.

Over the weekend I pulled both bikes out and was able to get a good look at the headers and they are the same, just newer. So they must be the slip ons as everyone has indicated.

Thanks, looks like I'll be pulling carbs! I should've responded that the primary symptom is that I smell raw fuel in the exhaust even after it's warmed up.

The full exhaust headers/mid-pipe and the exhaust are newer. I recieved the complete OEM exhaust including headers in a box with the bike. It's possible that the headers are new OEM but definately not the ones that had been on the bike originally. I'd include some pics here but I'm not sure...
