    Dominator Cat delete question

Thanks all, finished it today, your help made it pretty simple. it is throwing an engine light, likely due to the exup servo as I removed it. Will do the guru flash in the future, runs great and i like the sound, still stock pipes. thanks again

    Dominator Cat delete question

Good evening, I recently purchased the Dominator cat eliminator for my 2010 and am wondering if the EXUP should be removed, it appears that the EXUP is in the cat but I haven't got it completely taken a part yet. Also, any tips as I remove the cat and install the Dominator pipes? I searched...

    2000 VMAX in Iowa -SOLD-

Also posted on CL, http://desmoines.craigslist.org/mcy/4941969269.html, but reducing the price for forum members to $3900 since this forum has been awesome to me. Please mention the forum when responding. Great bike, excellent condition, only 15??? miles. Only had a VMAX for about three years...

Thinking of adding to the family...a ZX-11

That sounds awesome FM, makes me think a little about the Max with the UFO dragstars...pretty close to straight pipes..minus the fumes. I did get a set of FCRs off CL for the ZX but they have some cleaning/rebuilding (winter project), I hear they really bring the ZX to life, we will see next...

Thinking of adding to the family...a ZX-11

Just an update...it wasn't running right at the top end, could only squeeze out about 120 MPH so did a lot of carb work and then realized the number 3 connecting rod bearing was probably shot (fairly common on these apparently), confirmed it after tear down. Finding time and getting parts (all...

Thinking of adding to the family...a ZX-11

Sorry HB, hopefully I don't get you in too much trouble at home but I hope you can get a ZX11 again, I am loving it so for. It has some tuning to do get to top performance that that will occur slowly as $ allow. have a great one.

Thinking of adding to the family...a ZX-11

Ended up getting the 1990 today, I should have waited to check out the '93 but this one is in great condition and was the right price at $2800. Going to probably need a new rear tire and set of brakes but other than that it is in great condition. Had a 45 minute ride back after picking it up...

Thinking of adding to the family...a ZX-11

I agree Matt, a little protection is good and the look of the 93 (could be the picss) seems better. Time will tell chuck

Thinking of adding to the family...a ZX-11

Thanks for all the replies, that is why I love this forum. I joined three different ZX11 Forums but they are not near as user friendly and as helpful as you all are. I am looking at two right now, I prefer the look of the one in 1993 MN but being 4 hours away I haven't make the trek yet...

Thinking of adding to the family...a ZX-11

There are two bikes I have always wanted since the day I seen them...a V-Max which I have had for almost two years now (2000 carbon fiber), which is freakin awesome and a ZX-11....which I am on the hunt for. Not a lot of them around, at least on CL but there are a few. Checked on out last...

    Shinko 777?

thanks for the input Garrett. I am going to give the 777's a try. I was able to find a local dealer that would sell for $86, only $6 more than the tourmasters. I will post some feedback after a few weeks. The reviews on other websites along with the local dealer were pretty positive on the...

    Shinko 777?

I apologize if this has been answered before, I searched the forum but for some reason the 777 didn't show, just shinko. Need a new front tire and thinking about the 777 in size 120/90-18, any input would be appreciated. I am not committed to the larger front tire but considering it. I...

    Ordered a Maxgasser

My son rode with me this weekend and he said the maxgasser was tons more comfortable for the passenger. He is growing almost teenager, about 5'3". As I said before it wasn't a long ride but definitely long enough to see the significant difference from stock seat.

    Ordered a Maxgasser

I have to thank Rick for the color idea, I really think it looks great and compliments the carbon fiber very well

    Ordered a Maxgasser

Brought me a little closer to the ground, I am fairly short, about 5'8". Stock I am on the balls of my feet, on the Maxgasser my heels is very close to touching.

    Ordered a Maxgasser

Got my Maxgasser today, it looks amazing, too cold to ride today but just sitting on it in the garage it is night and day difference from stock. I will post again after my first ride. Thanks Rick.
