Easy enough to do. Need to buy a HD softail aftermarket bracket and tail light , cut the tabs off and cut the steel underpan's license plate bracket and bolt it on. It comes in chrome.

I'm gonna leave it that way, just because it's just about riding season and I don't have time to screw with it right now. Might buy another one and get that one powdercoated black than decide which I like best.

Talk to Hubeerjw. He can probably get one made up for you and you can paint it.

Here was my bracket... nothing fancy, but cut out of SS, and seems to fit up nicely. We should probably rename this thread to "Taillight Mods" or something else to help ID it a little better. I originally made this to try and save $$, and I would have if I would have gone with a simple cateye taillight. I wanted to get rid of the stock signals, and this taillight let me do that. It is made by V-Twin and is a VERY nice part... not cheap plastic. Anyway, I like what maxcruiser did and is an easy enough mod. I can make the brackets for $15-$20 if anyone is interested. Not sure what the HD bracket/taillight costs.

Looks great!! I like the chrome, it will accent the bike well.. If there are silver wheels and accessories.. Keep up the good work..

Bracket I had laying around from my Harley day's - it's a softail custom bracket - cheap enough off ebay - $30-$50 with catseye tailight. Signal lights off ebay for $40

Yes, that's an 18" wheel off ebay - $650 + tire

Thanks for the compliments - may do another one all powdercoated in black (taillight housing, bracket and signal lights.)
