I was looking around at thunder and I came up with some Ideas,I spent today in the garage and mocked up some Gen II highway bars, heres a "spy foto" . It looks like my plan is going to work pretty slick, Im going to get some prints made up and hit up a few machinists over the next couple weeks. I like to try to get a gauge on how much interest there may be in a nice clean set of HWB's, NOT CRASH BARS,or FRAME SLIDERS in fact these have been designed to bend or break in case of accident to prevent damage .

Ok, so it took me a way long time :bang head: but I finnally have a machined set of GEN II HWB's:biglaugh:, They will be called the MAXRELAXER's:clapping: and IMHO they work GREAT.:punk:

I will be sending a set to my beta tester in the next week or so and will look forward to his opinions

They were not cheap to have machined:bang head:, but Im hoping that there will be enough interest to bring the cost down enough for me to have a run of ten sets made.( if not there will be only two sets )

Simple one bolt installation, with full adjustablity within a four inch radius(up,down, closer or further away)

Please feel free to ask questions or make comments, and since I have been warned against" advertising" the on the starmax forum, tell your GEN II friends to come over here and take a look.

Rick.... they look FANTASTIC !! :clapping:
A very nice, clean, sharp looking design that fits the Gen2 perfectly.
I am sooooo 100% in for one of these MaxRelaxers !!! You did real good Rick !! Sign me up !! :punk:

Any details on whether they come coated / uncoated ? Is there a particular footpeg set that is recommended to use with the MaxRelaxer ?

Jeff or anyone else interested,

They will accept any foot peg with a 3/8 16 thread,I know that everyone will have their own preference in regards to pegs so I made it 3/8, BUT that little adjustment link can be easily modified to accept a 10mm thread( or any other for that matter)

As for coating , the beta tester will get a simple flat black paint, but as with the original 5 MAXGASSER"S ,The beta tester will have the original MAXRELAXER HWB's Replaced with A "perfected" set from the first run. Im thinking I may go with black oxcide as it wont change any of the demensions and it matches the engine finish very well, I am however open to opinions, and may even offer them "raw" so that the end user can do as he/ she pleases.

I would also be interested in getting Quotes from anyone interested in the machining some of these pcs, ,if interested PM me

Are these mounted the engine?
And if so what breaks off when you lay the bike over?

:eusa_dance:

Randi, they are mounted to the engine.the shaft slips into those seemingly useless tabs in the front of the motor and A single bolt in the X between the heads holds the whole assembly on. I did design them in a way that they should pull out of that tab with no damage(as long as the bike is moving forward)The wall thinkness is also very thin where the adjuustment link thread screws in,this should also give way before any damage accures. The pegs and not the brackets are the only part that sticks out beond the radiator, the ones in the pic are from the back of a gen I and will fold out of the way.

Unfortunately I can't see posts from twistedmax, I assume that is from the pleasure that he and one of or two of his cronies enjoyed being whatever the heck they were being. I have nothing against twistedmax, but his buddy from NYC And I can't say what I want to say right now.

So if someone can send me pic's of twistedmax products I would be more than happy to buy some if they are what I am looking for.

Really? Why should someone help you with such a trivial task when you can easily help yourself. Get over **** from your past already. If someone tries to get under your skin about past issues again just ignore them, it's that simple.

I've sent an apology to twistedmax I hope he accept it via PM. I want to apologize to to anyone here that I offended or pissed off. Obviously the ban from Starvmax still stings a bit but I will not let it follow me over here to this forum. To any of you who didn't like what I said about twistedmax I am sorry.

:rofl_200::biglaugh:Why do you guys need to relax? You only go 75 miles between gas stations:biglaugh::rofl_200:

Just joking around! I'm jealous and think that is a real cool mod.

Eight sets ready for shipping. There will be NO MORE when the last sets are gone.
