No piston notching. I also milled block head deck 0.040" to increase compression.

Could you confirm, Ventures cams are not equal to Vmax ones?

Exactly, swap the vmax heads and cams. Then the flywheel and pickup (if different year range 85-89 or 90-07). Then the PCV, shift shaft, and some other misc. If you use the Venture side covers you need to swap the support bushing from the stator cover (where the shifter exists on the venture) to the mid gear cover (where it exits on the vmax). Swap the oil sending unit and the nuetral sending unit (or custom wire it in to have indications for all gears). Some other misc too but not much.
