Stage 1 needles, 170 mains, has air correctors, {I think, see pic down below} K&N pods, 4 into 1, needles currently on 5th from dull end, I've tried 3,4,and now 5th clip down, 4th seems best but why can't I get rid of that cursed stumble at 5k ? I'm stressing.

Okay so i removed and cleaned the carbs... put them back on.. sorta synced them... (they are close but not perfect) i need to find a good sync tool the one i borrowed was a bit goofy, so anyways bike runs fine up to 5k... then falls on its face and doesnt really recover... more of a stumble up...

Finally was able to get the bike out on the road and its not pulling past 5k. Pulled the air box top and cleaned thoroughly the intake holes with carb cleaner. While I was doing this I noticed that the slides wouldn't move, at all, even revving to 7k. I had the carb side covers p/c this year...
