I have a 97 that spits out antifreeze when I shut it off. I removed thermostat today and ran it about 25 miles came home and it did the same thing. It never overheated with the thermostat in. There is no water in oil. Could it be a head gasket?

I noticed a small pooling of antifreeze yesterday. Here is a picture of where it leaks from and where it pools. Please post what is wrong and how to fix it. Thanks.

What antifreeze are you guys using/recommend? My local bike shop said that yamaha calles for a 60/40 mixture but when I looked it up, other sites say 50/50. Also my bike shop wants to charge me $9 for a quart of the yamaha brand antifreeze but a gallon of Prestone costs under $11 at Walmart.
