bushings

Hello. Anyone who knows what size/specs the bronze bushings on the gears in the transmission are?

I have the replacement shock bushings from Progressive. I have tried to press them into the shocks to no avail. What is the trick that I am missing? I am using a socket as a bushing driver, but as I press the bushing it expands rather than sliding into the shock mount. Do I have to shave...

Can the shock bushings be replaced, or if they are deteriorating does it spell the end of the shocks? Do they need to be pressed in / out? I have progressives on the bike, but don't know how old they are. They SEEM to work fine. I'll post a picture or pictures in a few hours.

I Have my forks apart from my 89 installing new springs and seals. I want to replace the fork bushings and can only find the one up at the fork seal. I can not find the one that fits in the groove in the fork tube anywhere. Tried 3 dealers every bike shop I can think of and looked on line. Does...

My forks were leaking on my 91 max, took them to get rebuilt. The guy calls me today and says the bushings that are on the inside that has teflon on outside, he said was a 40mm ID and a 41mm OD cannot be found. He has called racetech and everyone else he knows..........Honestly Im not sure...

Hi all! Okay, being the dolt that I sometimes am, I ruined (I mean, REALLY ruined) the rubber bushings at the bottoms of my Progressive rear shocks. I am wondering if any of you know a way I can make my own or, failing that, who might make a strong replacement for those bushings. Thanks...

Does anyone have any Progressive 412 shock adapter bushings? Or maybe a source for thin walled pipe to fab some? I need all four (4).

hey guys, so i finally got everything taken off that i want powdercoated.... but the rear rim has 6 rubber bushings that need to come out(especially since i destroyed one bushing) and i cant for the life of me figure it out! any help? thanks jason
