got my Vmax last summer,its a 95 with 22,000mi previous owner knows his stuff and did some work on the bike--modified airbox and K&N filter,UFO full exhaust with carbon fiber cans,rejetted the carbs,Vboost switch,large rear tire,custom taillight so I only put maybe 500mi on it 100 or more...

Yup. He did it two days ago on a beat-to-heck '87 Hurricane. That bike amazes me. Getting off the Max onto it feels like I am getting onto a dirt bike. Can't find the shifter as it's tucked close to the engine. 6 speeds. Noisy chain. Oil leaking from the valve cover. Something like 48k...
