89 VMAX. 16k. Just bought it. Runs GREAT. But when I put it up for the night on a couple of occasions I have sen a couple drops of oil near where the drive shaft mounts to the transmission. Does this sound like a gasket? How had will this be to change? Is there a way that I can check...

This sucks and I am not beating this thing that hard. 11.29@121 mph. Snapped the driveshaft on the next pass. I can't believe with a pretty much stock bike that I can be snapping driveshafts like this. Obviously this bike wasn't meant to be at the track and beat to death the way...

How much abuse does the stk driveshaft normally take? What are replacement options? I'm looking to possibly add a turbo to my stk 89 V-max. I've got a braced stk swingarm and i'll be running a 5.5"X17" rear wheel with a 190/50R17 tire. Don't wanna mess anything up or be left stranded...

Hi, any one know if a FJR 1300 driveshaft fits a vmax i need a driveshaft who is 2-3" longer and have heart that one fits but i am not sure.
