Has anyone removed the Star emblem from the scoops ? I would assume is anyone had the scoops chromed whoever chromed then would have had to remove them. My first thought was to remove the scoops and use a hair dryer to heat the inside of the scoop where the emblem would be and that would make...

My 2005 does not have the "YAMAHA" emblem on top of the rear fender but I have seen it on others in pictures. Does anyone know why or why not does a vmax have this emblem on the bike.

How do I remove the Vmax emblem on the side covers? Mine are really scratched up so I want to polish them.

Q: How are the emblems on the faux tank and the side panels attached? A: They are attached with double-sided tape. They can be removed with a hair drier and fishing line followed with a mild solvent to remove the rest of the paint residue.
