flashing

So i purchased aftermarket blinkers and plugged all 4 into the connectors and now when i hit the bright light switch it blinks. Only with the bright lights on though. I thought i may leave it that way as it does get cars completely out of the way and i'm sure illegal. I am changing them today...

I have the mini turn signals on my 97 Vmax and noticed today that the right turn signal sometimes does the 'quick flashing',(like the bulb is burnt) this doesn't happen all the time. Sometimes it will flash normally for about anywhere from 5 - 20 seconds and then start to do the quick flash...

Here's another (and the last!) of the nagging issues on my bike. When the motor is idling, the turn signals will flash normally for about 10 seconds, then start to wig out and flash totally randomly. I removed my OEM rear signal lights recently to make room for my new saddlebags. I relocated some "minis" to my license plate area using a custom mounting bracket. I used some cheap incandescent types until I can afford a good set of LED's this coming off-season. But for now they're working but...
