I assume this is some kind of a remote power access plug... I just discovered this the other day when I was looking at the bike... I assume this is not stock but I don't recognize the plug type perhaps it's for a specific purpose can anyone tell me what it is or what it connects to?
A buddy of mine just bought it as a project. Looks similar to a VMax, but I am not super experienced with them. Any ideas?
And I asked for the vin, he says he cant get to it under the fairing....
Hi,
I'm looking for the below part for a 2003 VMAX.
It should connect the centre stand spring to the bike itself.
I can't find the name to google but if anyone has a link to one please post.
Cheers!
Hey ppl.
I bought the max with this exhaust on. The mufflers are BSM vampire, but i dont know if the rest of the system is stock or aftermarket.
Any keen eyes out there that can spot it. If not i can get more pics and measurements :-D.

I took my bike apart over a month ago and I make notes so I know where things go, even down to what bolts etc.
I goofed and forgot to make notes for the following part, I think it goes under the fake tank but couldn't see how it would fit in. I have my bike re flashed by Tim Nash, I mentioned...

What is it?
Came with the bike.
Also just found a K&N filter, and the vboost 3000rpm switch as I installed my manual fan switch today.. I'd assume the p.o. also did a stage 7 or equivalent kit, since this exhaust is very free flowing and pretty loud.
Also, It is silver, natural finish, but they sprayed...
In all of my disassembly, I stumbled upon this piece that I have no clue where it came from. Can anyone help?
It's rubber with a lip and metal clips that obviously snaps over something.
thanks in advance.
Was changing the spark plug on # 4 cylinder, right front, yesterday. As I tightened the spark plug something fell on the ground. This little clip. Am trying to figure out where it came from.
Please let me know where this goes. Thanks. R
Hey all
Been trying to order a new bolt for the left side of my vmax the top one on the Yamaha engine guards but my local dealer can't match a part number... Anyone know the number for that bolt? it screws into the frame... No nut or anything... They ordered three bolt so far and none of them...
Howdy guys, I've got a (hopefully) simple question for you all. Can anyone identify these wires/plugs?

I was having some battery issues yesterday and ended up having to replace the battery as it was completely dead and wouldn't take a charge. Ended up getting stranded...
Can someone tell me what this round barrel item is? I don't see a thing about it in the service manual... Is it just a wire bus? It is located under the left scoop with the relays..
Thanks...

I am going through a long list of winter mods, including checking/fixing the o-ring (which was out of place)
Upon dropping the pan I noticed something wedged in the oil pickup screen. I don't have any idea what this is and I've looked but cannot figure out where this might have come from.
So...
Hey guys. I tore down my max last Aug, and am FINALLY getting it buttoned back up. Did a 1300 swap, carb clean/rebuild, and tons of powder coating. So after having everything apart for so long, I can't remember how the Vboost linkage is supposed to go for sure. And this screw I'm almost...
Hey guys, I'm gearing up to install some Led turn signals and have been reading up on what needs to be done with the wiring to make them work. In addition to a diode at the turn signal indicator, I've been reading you need to usually wire in a relay other than the one on the bike. I'm not so...
