I had a plug die on me, so decided to swap them all out. I was intending to replace them will the same NGK DPR8-ea9, but the store was out of stock. Instead the guy recommended an alternative NGK plug which he said was a platinum tip. I can't remember, but I think it was something like DP8-efg...
I have to change my plugs about once a month because they burn out. I have tried just about every brand of plug that matches the NGK and have had the best luck with champions but they still burn out a lot. Any suggestions on different plugs?

Actually they are 500,000 volt and 230,000 volt transformer bushings. NGK makes the glass/porcelain ABB makes the whole bushing. These are on the conservator transformers I've been working on on a new sub in Louisiana.

I read on another forum that these plugs were being used by a few Vmax riders and had good things to report, such as smoother idling and better gas mileage. Anyone ever used these plugs or have any comments ?
