It's funny. I meet two kinds of people who know about the Vmax. 1: It's the fastest bike on the face of the earth still. 2: It's a 600lb turd that's on par performance-wise with a virago 1100 I've had a Hayabusa, a ZZR1200, a CBR1100XX, an FJR1300, an 07 R6 and a few other bikes that once...

I'd like to get rid of the sluggish steering on my 'Max. Rather than lowering the front 1/4" - 1/2" I'd like to raise the rear with new shocks to 13.5" (.5" over stock). Dropping the front will cause things to touch down sooner & would rather gain some cornering clearance at the same time...

So I was thinking to myself about which mods I plan on doing this winter... and I was trying to put them into two groups... 1 is for safer/practical: For example, progressive shocks, better brakes, emulator, etc.... the other group is the fun one (and the hard to sell to the wife-o)...
