Hello all, 1st post. I have looked over the entire site and actually found a great write up on doing a valve adjustment.. The problem is, is that it mentions nowhere what diameter shims to use. Does anyone have this info?

This is not a stock needle pretend it is ok. The plastic piece goes first into the slide then does the shim go in after that or put the needle in second then the shim on top of the stock needle?

Are there any commonly available valve shims that fit the vmax other than OEM? Sean's got me in line for a kit but I'm done with this motor except for final clearance checks, I bench shimmed it before installing the heads. Ready to install but wanting to wait and not do this in the bike
