My 2010 has an Akro pipe with the X-pipe and baffles removed. I also moded the air box by removing the plastic restrictor and added a K&N filter.
My current setup uses a power commander 3 and I can say that I have suffered with a bad tune for a long time now. My bike dies at idle...
I'm about ready to install Vance and Hines slip ons. I think I know the answer, but is a reflash needed if the air box is stock? If so, I will have to spend money on the reflash, I will probably then install k&n filter. Which flash Nash is the correct one for Vance and Hines?

Hi guys have any of you tried the flash tune ecu kit? i just ordered it to remove the rev limiter, adjust the fan temp, and a few extras it allows me to. Have any of you done this?

I ran out of gas with my max yesterday (not too uncommon) but after I started it up again it seemed as though I didn't get much power past 5k rpm or half throttle, and when I go over I hear alot of popping but no power. With lower throttle and lower rpm I get the same amount of power and torque...
When I throttle over 1/4 to 1/3 and the bike is under 2500 rpm it will stumble and almost make a tst tst tst sound while giving zero power beyond the amount it starts to stumble at. I've also noticed that it will do the tst tst sound when i go past about 1/3 choke. Any idea what it could be?
Well as the title says. I am looking for suggestions as to what fellow VMAXers have done with Cobra slip on setups. My bike is currently all stock with the exceptions of the slipons. My issue with the bike is cruising around 3.5k to 6.5k (around 65mph to 80mph or so) it studders and acts like it...
