Here in greece unleaded fuel is cheaper than leaded fuel.

does the engine loses power??? Or does something bad to the engine that you will see it after long period of time?
Just bought an '85 Vmax. Prior owner claims it was meant to be run on leaded gas and that I need to put additives in the unleaded gas. I find this hard to believe. I thought they started phasing out leaded gas in the 70's and I heard that Japanese bikes had hardened valve seats from the 60's...
