Hi, I'm new here. Just bought an 07 max. I had a 93 and 95 but kept them stock. Been looking for a full pipe found two I really like kerker and ufo dragstar. If I go with the kerker do i have to do a stage 7 ? or anything at all to the carbs? I live near pittsburgh does anyone have advice on a vmax tuner???? Thanks in advance

You can run the Kerker dead stock. Also look at Marks Exhaust. You'll find links in the VMF links area. See button above.

Also read the good and bad vendors threads to enlighten you to the positive and negative vendors.

You can run any header directly as is or add a kit like stage seven or mine and enhance what you have. I sell Kerker's new and have a few others on hand used.

Hey Rick,

I live north of the burg. Sorry, I can't help with any info for a tuner in the area. I have always been a do it yourself kinda guy. With all the excellent help and info found here combined with the service manual, you can do just about anything you want to your bike if you have the patience and a little common sense.

If you ever want to hear a set of Marks Pipes in person, shoot me a PM. They may make you change your mind about the UFO or Kerker options. Or if you're just looking to go for a ride. I'm not an expert but I've done a bunch of work to my bike and have a synch tool and some other stuff so if you ever need a hand or have any questions, feel free to contact me.

Bill Kratz is local and has a set of Dale Walker holeshot pipes on his bike. Plus his bike is one of the nicest max's you'll ever see

The best vendor I have EVER dealt with. He actually answers his phone and gives advice when he's cutting grass on Sunday. Thanks Sean!
