145,000 miles

Hello there everyone

about 4 years ago I "inherited" a V-Max from my best freinds widow
with 145,000 miles

I rode it about 3k miles before proceeding to rip the exhaust off on a speed bump, so she has sat for about two years

I won a bid on e-bay for a STOCK exhaust for 100 TMD
so she will run again
I figure My buddy would be more pissed with it sitting then he would be that I put a stock exhaust back on her

Very nice mileage indeed. Someone must have been taking care of her. I agree with Chris that it's likely a Hindle. We might be able to fix it for you though it won't be as pretty as it was originally.

Hindle system....exactly
Tony who rode all the miles on it, also has 1 inch shorter shocks on it
the street/diveway seam did it in
$675 for replacement hindle parts
$850 for a new complete system

At the rate I'm putting on miles... It'll be 300 years before I hit that number... NO SHIT! So far I have 300 miles on it this year.... lol
