17" Front w/ 18" rear

Hello All
Have read just about every post in the tire section, think my brain is fried:ummm:

Anyways I have noticed there isnt a lot of radial tires for the front stock 18", but quite a few choices for a 17".

I am thinking about running a 18" rear with 180/55-18 to be as close to stock height as possible for cruizing rpms and going with a 17" up front for the radial choices.

There are several GSXR rims on Ebay pretty cheap.

Any problems running 18" in back and 17" up front?

No but you will have to space the fender down a lot and get a different speedo pickup dealie...

I have an 18" Metz Z6 on the front of mine and an 18" ME880 on the rear. I am VERY happy with that setup.

Most of us do it the other way around. I have a 17 inch rear wheel and the stock 18 inch front. There is only 1 or 2 tires that fit on the stock front rim.
