Hey guys. This will serve as my intro/Morley's Hayabusa kid thread.
I found Sean through you guys and have been speaking with him via email a ton. One of the nicest guys I've found. He will be my go to guy for any parts I order from here on out.
What I've got....
I snagged a 1988 Yamaha Vmax off of CL for right around $1100.00 score right? Than found out it also had a Kerker exhaust and stage 7 jet kit. 29k original miles. Needs some TLC. I've added a digital spedo that registers top speed and has shift lights. I'll also be mounting/running an Escort redline.
I plan on bracing the frame when Sean gets his next batch ready for sale.
I have rebuilt forks, calipers, mc's, coolant systems, and done suspension to my 85 maxim x.
Brakes time.....
I snagged some Hayabusa calipers off of Ebay for cheap and in great shape. Ordered ss lines from Sean and Wave style rotors. I hope I can throw questions up here as I go along and make a "pic heavy" how to for folks on the fence.
