So I took my wife on a ride down to the Poconos last weekend and found out that it is time for a touring bike. So I just picked up an FJR1300...
I have had my VMax for just over a year and have put 5000 plus miles on it. Total mileage is just under 24,000.
Mods:
Progressive springs and synthetic fluid in front forks
Venture swingarm (braced, longer, drops rear end)
COPs
SS brake lines front and rear
LED headlight bulb (2000+ lumens)
Engine guards
Superbike bars, D3 grips, bunch of mirror options
New front fender (carbon fiber paint scheme - matches the other body parts of the bike)
Small turn signal lights - not led
I had an under 21 year old run up on the front wheel earlier this summer. He damaged the front fender and I had John at PCW racing check everything out (wheel, wheel bearings, fork tubes, neck bearings). Good to go from John and I have ridden 500+ miles since then with no issues. Just providing full history.
Carbs are synched
