2400 miles so far

well so far on this trip i have 2400 miles of seat time since last friday. my brother has a buell cyclone who seems to get pissed off more and more every time we go out. you see, my bike had been running well, but sluggish ever since ive owned it ( sept 08) well the more scenic trips we take while down here in his corner of hell the higher my mpg gets and the more power it seems to make. the other day we got on it and i tore him up without even downshifting. bad.... i mean i pulled him like i would expect a 600 honda shadow. to top it all off every time weve stopped for lunch or water or whatever. SOMEONE has walked up to look at the max and then comes in and sees our helmets only to sit by us and talk about the vmax. hes been seeing red about this vmax all week. its been awesome. the only thing he can really say is your pos ( meaning my max) is nothing but rice. to which all i can do is laugh and say must suck to get your *** handed to you by rice so often.

then the other day my dad finally went for a ride with us on his 6 cylinder valkarie. to my surprise my dad even felt he needed a piece of mr max... needless to say all he saw were my 4 tailpipes and all he heard was the deafening tone that comes out of said pipes.

saving the best for last

another day we stopped for water ( its been about 108F down here. and my brother and i pulled in and parked by a vrod and a v65. went in and got our water.well when we come out i see these 2 guys and i assumed they are just bsing. turns out neither of their bikes would start. well they seemed like nice guys so my brother and i stuck around and gave them a hand. after about an hour of messing around they were both running. we get ready to leave and guess what? the buell wouldnt start! i jokingly said "i guess your bikes were so scared of max they didnt want to start!they all 3 just flipped me off... we ended up riding for about 400 miles together. nice guys they are. oh and btw. mr max wiped the road with that v65 and vrod. ive had an awesome week so far and cant be more proud of how well the bike is running now.

btw heres one of the few pictures i actually took. this road in front of the bike went on for a couple hundred miles. talk about a boring ride. the bike is dusty but for some reason i thought it was neat...

i took the advice from someone about buying a gel pad for a bicycle seat which has helped alot. still not good, but better than the sitting on a rock feeling.

nice story man. i can't imagine its the stock seat ethier. 2 x 600 mile weekends were enough for me. you won't regret it. i actually like the lines better of the bike too with seans seat. not to mention all the ergonomics

Glad to hear your Max is running so well! Nice kill report, keep 'em coming! I agree with Chris, you must have a iron butt to ride that far on a stock seat. You'll be thanking Sean every time you ride once you get his new seat under ya!

I have one for the max that I use with Seans seat for LONG trips and I LOVE it. Makes it MUCH more enjoyable. I need the height for longer trips. I bought one for the pillion as well but haven't used it yet.

i assume u have the medium sized one? holy **** they're expensive

Yeah they're UBER pricey... Well worth it IMO. It actually makes the stock seat livable. I bought it for that.

It also lets your *** breathe. VERY important on longer rides so you don't get monkey butt.

they have some seat cushions designed for canoe seats but i have one it works great for the max too. it is not real pretty but it is not bad and it is nice for long rides.

Had a look but all I could find was a green air pillow for $10 - is that what you meant?
