Thanks Rusty for motivating me to do this before it was too cold.

Awesome!
I've been to Yellow Stone before.. amazing sights. I was a lot younger though!

Nice pics too!

Damn nice job guys! I've been to Yellowstone 4 times but have never been around the entire park in one trip nor on a motorcycle! Thanks for the pics! (More to come?)

WOW!!!!!!

That's a lotta miles.......OUCH!!!!!:biglaugh:

Thanks for the pics......Looks like it was fun:punk:

Trip was excellent and the company even better, it's great to meet people off the forum, Shad really showed me a great time, I could not have asked for a nicer guy to hang with that's for sure. Seeing the country I saw was just a bonus as I could have had a good time just hanging out around a fire ring drinking beer too.

Total mileage for me was 940 miles from Noon on Friday to Sunday evening as I'm staying just south of Salt Lake about 18 miles, or about 175 from Shads Teepee:rofl_200: (Yes! I did!)

I have plenty of more pics, will post them up as soon as I can...

Thanks again Shad!

Rusty

Photo #6(3655) is what is called a "clay pot" whereas steaming hot water boils up though a area rich with clay and form little (sometimes large) pools of bubbling clay. Really neat to see clay "boiling"!
Photo 9/10/11 are of the Yellowstone version of the Grand Canyon, it's quite impressive and unexpected when you first see it.
Photo # 14 is of the mammoth terraces, they are near the NW entrance park HQ, and are pretty impressive too.
You can see all these features on google earth quite easily although having these pictures to reference will give a good idea of how impressive this area is. If you have never been there you really owe it to yourself to see it. You could easily take a week and still not see it all.
