85 Max - best pads, master cylinders for the price?

Been going through a bunch of posts. Looks like many of you are using EBC HH sintered pads. Also looks like some have gone to FJR master cylinders. And of course many of you are using better calipers.

I don't want to "brake" the bank but do have some questions about brake options for my 85:
1. Can I use the EBC HH pads? If yes, is $33 a set a good price for them? Stock pads seem to be around $44 a set.

2. Brake and clutch master cylinders work fine on my bike but are rashed up and ugly, thanks to the previous abuser... er I mean previous owner. Should I just get OEM replacements for about $90 a piece or something else?

EBC HH pads are fine and the price mentioned isn't bad.

I wouldn't pay that much for NOS master cylinders. Check Ebay or maybe Morley might have some good masters.

I'm waiting for Sean to get back to me about master cylinders, but does anyone else have any front brake mc assemblies kicking around?
