How is this removed?

2 tabs are now flat but It won't budge for anything as it is, even with impact wrench....

Edited: nevermind. LOTS of effort broke it free....

What's a good way to remove the bearings for replacement? Can they be tapped out with a long drift or is a bearing puller required?

One side easily taps out but the other side doesn't. I will assume a 3-jaw puller will do the trick...

I wish I could find the correct one for this application but the $10 harbor freight tool saved the day yet again.

Used their puller. Attached it to a heavy vice. Slide hammer action pulled it free in seconds.

Bearings show up on Tuesday. However.... I can see that there is some oil in the rubber boot so I'll bet there are a couple seals needing attention.

Additionally, I've read the horror stories about the middle gear rubber boot... best I can understand for reassembly is to secure the boot to the swingarm first and mate up the swingarm and gearing and try to reattach the boot to the engine side.

Murphy's Law says this will be one of those hold up the entire job type things while I fumble a way to get it to work...
