99 vmax head light issue

Need a little help from the max experts. The headlight would stay on after starting. I replaced the relay however problem still there. I can rap on the rt hand grip after starting - like the Fonz and light comes on. Any ideas????

Your start button is probably sticking a bit. It cuts out the headlight during starting and probably isn't coming all the way out. A quick fix is to spray some WD40 or something similar in around the button.

Thanks had that apart eariler-will sprak some contact cleaner on it and givre it a try.
