I got my pegs on and finally got a picture.
Went riding when I got home....so much for that HUGE STORM....lol.
cruise control came in today too.....putting that on tonight.

thanks Mike....I also got the chrome covers for the clutch and front brake reservoirs too.
The ones on ebay that say vmax on them....engraved into them.
To me.....I LOVE THEM!
35.00 but they were a valentines present to myself.....lol.
They are the actual covers....not just caps.
The radiator grill I got last year....100.00..... I want to get scoop inserts too....not sure if I want the "six shooter" ones or something different.
This is the FIRST bike I've ever put $$$$ into to customize it to my taste.
Other bikes were just regular main. stuff (oil, tires, chains etc.....)
My max is my baby and a keeper for sure!

Just a little encouragement from me. I stopped smoking 20 years ago and it was holy hell. I still crave to this day but saved all that fagmoney to buy the new Max. Hope it doesn't have a Harley price tag. LOL

The bike looks great Randy, I may also get a set of pegs to put on my crashbars. To put my feet on them, it's too close, I think the pegs would feel much better.

I also quit smoking 2 weeks tommorrow and I have not had a single drag, and I did it cold turkey. It's the only way - as much as I hated it. No nic is sucks big time, but I'm glad. That was all I needed to hear that people still crave after 20years.

Funny you guys talk about quitting smoking. I bought an 8 week supply of nicoderm cq patches off ebay last week. Im trying to quit and its proving to be one of the hardest things ive ever done. Even with the patches i still have to have one after eating or when i first wake up.

Don't get the flu shot....And be ready for when you get sick. Just keep thinking about how much you you hate it and want to quit, while your laying there half dead. I was very sick for 3 to 4 days and was too ill to smoke. I said thats it - FuKit - no more. You need to get the nic out of the body for good and just suffer till you do - to get over it they say it takes 7-10 days. After that - don't restart and you'll make it. So far so good, I don't miss it as much as I did when I was on the patch or gum. I'm totally dead serious here. It's working for me.

Totally agree with you guys. Only way I could do it is cold turkey. Got everybody pissed at me for a few weeks while going bonkers. If wife thinks it's a great idea, good way to get more nukie by keeping your mind on something else. Worth a try.:confused2:

Was kidding (?) about still craving after 20 years for a smoke. Now it's more horse power.....another addiction. Both are hazardous to your health.

Took the max for a ride today....pegs are AWESOME and cruise is soooo sweeeet!

Ya man nice ride. far as quiting smoking I quit a year ago .... only way I could do it was Patch (good kind equate sux), Lexapro (antidepressant), and LOTSA XanaX (good ol nerve pill). So no more smoking for me ....... cigarettes anyway LOL.:biglaugh:
