I just put back the wheels and I end up with an extra screw which looks like coming from the bike. Any idea where that allen screw comes from?

Tnx

Michael

I removed the wheels and the diff with my friend last weekend and put back the powder coated wheela today. That's it.
Just doing a carb cleaning now hoping to ride tom.

I know thats weird. I dont remember seeing that bolt. Even not 100% sure it comes from the bike but very look like it :(

The screw, not from the caliper I hope?
How about some pics of the wheels? I'm leaning towards mirror black next tire change.

Not a Yamaha Vmax part. It appears to be a caliper bolt though if I were going to guess.

Checked 3 times and still nothing maybe I worry too much. Although remember I lost my muffler last time hahaha

Hey steve, here are some quick pics.
Cbr900 at the back with new brake disk (same as Brian) and a 85 wheel on front.
Bike is bit dirty, didn't ride for about 3 months, but wheels really look great.

For the bolt I guess I'll look at the fz16 of my father in low, he might have forgot it lol
That bolt made be nuts half the day lol
Got the bike running, just a bit rough but I'm confident it just needs to run a bit. Wow almost forgot how it feels haha

That doesn't seem to belong to the carbs as well... :rofl_200:

If it is a M8 like it seems i'd say its a caliper bolt like Sean suggested but never seen an allen one though... But the head flange gives it away...

Some of the sportbike calipers used this exact bolt design for the banjo bolts. I have also seen this style bolt for the fender mounts on inverted forks.

Looks great, thanks for posting Michael. I use allen bolts for my caliper to adapter plates. That's why it hit me that it might be a caliper bolt. Glad it's
not your issue.
