Hey Terry....I had one of those trucks....'91 Scottsdale, put a 350 crate motor in it and a backhoe on the back.

Hell yes, lots o' things good...stumbled on a great carb set-up for Memax with Tugla & Mark-o's help (thanks guys). The oil light came on in 2nd and stayed on thru 3rd and 4th till I ran out of road...the "Poor Man's Dyno' run! :punk:

S'posed to be in the 70's tomorrow just to top all the 'goodness' off! :worthy:

Poppop,
First, bike's all mod'ed the way I want it and ready to ride here in Michigan and at Thunder in June. Second, I'm a proud dad ... son #2 just finished grad school with an advanced Chemistry degree, found a job in these tough times and is relocation to Greenville, SC in May to work at Michellin N.A. And third, weather's starting to get better here in Michigan !! Always something good !!! :eusa_dance:

I survived another Michigan winter and riding season is about here. I celebrated 24 years on my current job last February and business is still growing strong. Me and my wife will be celebrating our 19 year wedding anniversary this Saturday

Not sure this belongs here but yesterday on my ay home from my Chiropracter I stopped at D&D for a coffee while sitting on my bike a old man comes out of D&D w/ a walker & trips I jumped off my bike grabbed hole of him & saved him from taking a nasty digger face plant. His wife was so happy I was there They were both I should say .. It made me feel good :).

After a week of frustration, finally figured out why my Linux kernel wasn't detecting a temp sensor located on my expansion card via the i2c bus. I can now model a userapp library that can our control software can link in to periodically monitor the temps.

At my age, and considering family medical background, any day spent above ground is considered a win. So...considering I got up this morning, dressed for work, stumbled in to sit at my desk, and am now reading this.... life is good. ;)

Mine is a 89,Dam same color and everything The backhoe works!70s tomorow,Damn it will cook oil light thru 3 gears!!

Great thread! Most threads are started because we have a problem and need some help. Its nice to be able to focus on the good stuff once in awhile.

Whats good with me?

Wife and I celebrated 11 years of marriage on the 13th. My boss told me to take her out to dinner at a good restaurant and pay for it with my company credit card.

Last Friday I skipped out of the office around 11:00 to go to the "Math Olympics" Both of my kids (daughter 10, son 8) made it thru the school wide meet and got to progress to the next level. They were competing against 7 other schools that day. I was glad to be able to be there and support the kids in their efforts and glad that they both care to try hard enough to make it that far. Hopefully that attitude lasts throughout their years in school.

I'm excited for my annual "man trip" coming up in a couple weeks. Me and a few guys from the family will take our dirt bikes/quads and go riding for a few days in the woods, have some huge fires, get a little too drunk, and probably hang out with some elk and bear.

The Vmax, the riding mower, and the weedwacker ALL started up and ran great right off the bat. I did not prep any of them for storage last year. Maybe I need to keep that ritual?

At work, we signed with a new client. Me, the owner, and one of the other managers have been going back and forth with the client over the contract and payment terms trying to get things more in our favor. We finally signed the contract and are talking about going to work next week. Hope it all works out. Its looking very promising.

And the biggie.... Gram (my grandma) was diagnosed with colon cancer awhile back. She went thru a surgery and chemo for a good part of last year. She finished it up the beginning of this year. After that, she was pretty sick and other issues kept popping up. She has been getting stonger and stonger over the past 6 weeks or so. The drx seems to think it was caught early enough! :punk:

12 years happily married, 4 healthy dogs, love my job and happy to go to work, and a brand new 2012 max in the garage. Lovin life!!
