If you're referring the the ones between the carbs and manifolds yeah...they can be a pig to get off/an. But, if you look underneath they only go on one way. Just carefully work 'em. As they age they get hard and are more difficult to remove and more prone to leak.

In my experience lately messing with the carbs they are hard but not too difficult. They have little tabs on them to make sure they line up the right way, make sure you pay attention

I have found WD40 helps when you put them on.
