Am I the only one with a Bell?

When my grandparents were still riding my grandmother always gave us a Bell. Supposed to keep the gremlins away she says. (She's Italian straight from the old country so always has a twist to what something actually means) lol its mostly a sentimental thing since they have gotten old and stopped riding. Just wondering if I'm the only one who's got a Bell?

When I bought my Venture I noticed a demon bell zip tied on the engine guard. I tore the bike mostly apart and updated/reassembled. The demon bell still hanging there. I'm not superstitious but I just never took it off. Anything that could possibly be good luck is okay with me.

3 of my bikes have bells and yes given to me ... so far they work !!

I had one that was given to me, it came off. I'd like to get another.Bells are good luck charms for bikes.

My max has one & the wing used to but I think it got drug off in the corners the next one will have to be placed higher up.

I've got bells on the Max and Roadstar. Our whole riding group uses them to keep the gremlins at bay. Maybe we could do a Bell Swap, seeing they should be given to you.

Personally, I did run over a gremlin that fell off my buddy's bike. Or maybe that was a dead squirrel...

Only Bell on my bike was an RT open face Bell helmet, the first fiberglass helmet I bought new.

The H-D boys & girls are into those bells. Guess some are here too.

I knew a guy once that rode without a demon bell, 5 years later, nasty divorce! Now whatcha got? HUH? :clapping:

I first saw them waaaaay back when I was an HD guy, never put one on mine, when I stepped up to euro and jap bikes (that first ride on a KZ ruined HDs for me) I never saw them anymore. I do believe you are generally correct about the demographic of the demon bell.

I don't have one. I have had them on other bikes (H-D) i doubt the gremlins would hear the bell over my exhaust. supposedly they must be gifted to you from a fellow rider.

Yeah a little extra luck is never a bad thing! I have an extra bell I'm gonna give mama when I get her a bike. (She won't ride it, but she wants one. Lol)

I have a bell on my '96 GPz1100 that was given to me by a rider friend. I sure wish someone would give me another for the '99 Max, I feel nekid w/o one!
