I'm getting the Metzeler ME880 setup (front and rear, went with the 170 in the back, hope for no washer swap) but a buddy of mine got a set of Dunlop E3s for his bike and really liked them. I went to dunlop's website, and the Qualifier and the E3 seem to be REALLY close in size:
SIZE LOAD/ SPEED INDEX SIDEWALL PART # APPLICABLE RIMS
Rec. Rim OVERALL DIAMETER OVERALL WIDTH FULL TREAD DEPTH MAXIMUM LOAD @ PSI
K525:
150/90-15 74V RWL 4213-50 3.50 25.57 6.26 8/32 825 @ 40
E3:
MV85B15 77H BW 4079-45 3.50 25.50 6.02 11/32 910 @ 40
Looks like a 1/4" narrower, H instead of V, but better load rating.
Just wondering if anyone's tried them and what they thought...
