Are Ufo's easier to spot than a vmax?

I have notcied something but I am not sure it's due to demographics or not, so can someone correct me if I am wrong?
Where are all of the Vmax's at?
Having grew up in Chicago, and now living in Arizona I've actuall seen Ufo's twice (Key word is "unidentified" and not alien) but never a Vmax on the road.
Maybe one in 1993 at a body shop owners business.
Any thoughts on this?

Have you looked at the rider locator map yet?

Just go to the "seaarch members to the right of the page, then go to advanced search and do a location search of Arizona.

I just emailed Vern last week about that map. I went to Frappr to setup a map for us a year or so ago and found that this guy in Cali named Vern had but had never had any other members sign up, so I signed up and then put it here and on the VMOA and now there's over 1300 people on it. Sweet!

I set up a new map last week for the Pontiac G8 and have several people now too.:thumbs up:

Kick ass..

I just did a member search for Alaska, there are 4. one is in North Pole, which is only 15 miles from me.

I don't know where the other 2 are. the VMOA has a guy listed in north pole, the others are in Anchorage area. A friend of mine has what I think is a 88 w/stage 7 and kerker, braces and a few other things. I'll see if I can't get a hold of him he would love this place. He's a crazy bastard. His front wheel has gravity issues. Everytime I see him out and about that front end is in the air.

There are quite a lot around the Houston area and Texas in general but as far as just running across one while out and about?

I might run across one maybe twice a year...

We have the same phenomenon here in FLA.
There are a ton of VMaxs here, but you might see one once or twice a year.
Bike Week and Biketoberfest VMOA meets are an exception though.

I know of only 2 in my area, mine and Almty's. I met Almty at a local pub but we have never been able to go for a ride yet. I have seen another one that rode by while I was at work a few times over a couple week time period. I think that one was just visiting the area though. I rode around to all of the local hotels and resturants but did not see him.

I've spotted a Max maybe 5 times. That's why I'm going the this years icebreaker. Come on out if ya can.

That is one more cool thing about here in Germany and Europe in general. The V-Max has a true Cult following, and you do see a lot of them.

Now when I was living in Alabama a few years back it was exactly the same. I was sure that I had the only one in Huntsville!

There's about 6-8 vmax's in my area - this area is big for Harleys and metric vtwin cruisers.

Out of the vmax's only about 2-3 actually ride further than to the coffee shop hang out.

My situation is different. There are six in our riding group that have Maxes as our around town bike (we live in the Dallas area). One (with a 94) lives in in Texarkana though and we only see him a couple times a year. That leaves 5 that I see on a weekly basis. Three 97's, one 95 and one 06. Besides those, don't see others often. Occasionally we take the Maxes on our longer trips for a change from our Sport-Tourers but they are mostly used for short trips and around town.

best part about the max i hardly see any...makes me feel special

This weekend when we were on our Bandera run with about 20 maxes and a handful of sportbikes we stopped at the Frio canyon River Stop in Leakey which is a Harley stop primarily.

What was cool was with all the Harleys everywhere our bikes got more attention than anything there.

What was even cooler was several of the Harley guys were looking at my bike (parked right next to all the other Maxes) and asking

"Is that the new Max they were coming out with?"

Damn I love this machine.....

Well this one is easy! The V-MAX is so damn fast! At times I hear what sounds like thunder but I know its a VMAX rolling it on some where close!
F-16's are always flying around but when was the last time you seen one fly over? Never, cause ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,they are to damn fast!!
Has anyone caused a sonic boom yet while riding you V-MAX?

Theres one other person in my town that has a V-Max becides me and thats it. ive only seen 4 or 5 last year. ive been to a few bike shows and to americade and i rarely ever see a VMax. It kinda makes you feel special doesnt it?:thumbs up:

No we gabbed on the phone for a while, I was supposed to go out there tonight and toss back a couple brews, but after chipping ice and moving wood I'm laid up again. All I have to say is thank god for hot tubs and TENS units.

I'm going to activate the insurance on my bike next week and then we are going to go for a ride.

Theres another bloke in North Pole, according to the VMOA member look up. I assuming hes still active as it shows he recently re-upped his dues.
