was in autozone today and they had $1 off seafoam and $2 off mobil hypoid 75-90 gear oil. just figured i'd pass the info along. i'm sure its cheaper elsewhere but i was there and picked upsome seafoam.

Not too long ago I was in a napa that had a special on seafoam, it was like $6 a can. Normally when I see it at wally world or auto stores it's $9 or $10....pricey.

Seafoam is 95% naphtha, which is also known as camp stove fuel. Have to wonder if using that would have the same cleaning effects at a fraction of the cost.

wonder? yes. try? no....

Should anyone be concerned with the other 5% of the chemical components and who is volunteering to give it a try?! Anyone? C'mon, have some cajones. How about that nutjob Rockatansky. It's only a matter of time if you know what I mean. Does anyone here remember Eddie The Eagle?

Not me... I'll keep using the Star-Tron... I was amazed how well it worked, and it's meant to be in every tank of fuel.

I know the other 5% are "special organic compounds". Not sure what that means or if it's the Naphtha that does the work, but I don't see alcohol in the MSDS for it. They call them "Enzymes".

All I know is... IT WORKED FOR ME. Most of you know, my bike does more sitting than running. The boat is the same. It sits for a week and then is run. This solved the stumbling and stalling issues we had.
