As i dont do much night riding i was caught out the other night when my driving lights wouldnt go . But when i switched them on and off i would get a clicking noise . Now i checked the fuse box under the faux tank by seat but all was good i cant see any broken wires but this clicking is obviously the problem but i cant seem to pinpoint it . :confused2:

I guess it's different for you - here in USA our driving lights are always on - can't switch them off at all. The only switch is hi/lo beam.

I know the European models always came with On/Park/Off, not sure if there's a relay controlling that but that clicking on yours could be it.. I know some people add relays to the headlamp circuitry to get better voltage to the headlight.

i think this are his aftermarket driving lights mounted on his frame braces.

They are the aftermarket lights mounted in my engine guards . My Max being of Canadian decent via Japan always has lights on . NZ has passed law that from 1st Nov headlight has to be permanately on .

what are your lights wired into? can u throw a multimeter on them and ensure they're getting the proper voltage?
