Back on a Max after 18 years

Hey folks, I was on the old VMOA forum back in the early 2000’s when I dragraced my 97. Hard to stay away. Picked up a 98. I am taking my time making it mine.

There was a guy from Algonquin Illinois a member on here probably a year ago who had two Generation 1 vmax's he was looking to sell. That's a long time ago but maybe worth it because they both looked well cared for.

I bought one 2 weeks ago. Am slowly but surely cleaning and modifying to my taste. Somebody else’s baby was not to my “baby” expectations

Don't forget to show us pictures. If you're doing some disassembly and rebuild, if you do a few pics and the description to go along w/it, we are always interested to see that. You might help someone do the work on their bike.
