You might try what i have which are helmet locks on the ends made of stainless work great. Thay are from a company in georgia call barenders[?] try looking on the web. You can lock helmets on both ends and also can lock up a jacket with a helmet.

Cool thanks guys. The same company I posted earlier also makes a throttle lock, I believe it's $115 instead of $65.

I'll also check into the locks, I think that's a pretty cool idea.

So I'm pretty sure I'm gonna order these before I leave work today (no internet at home sucks).

Unless there is some reason that it won't work with my max (the 7/8 ones on the left side of the screen) and someone tells me not to, I'm gonna order them.
I plan on riding from western PA to Virginia beach in august, so I think the throttle lock would be great to have, especially for long distance trips.
