Crazy. Personally I'm always armed in a craigslist purchase or sale because you just never know. Also a little due diligence and common sense go a long way as well. I hope no one here gets into a similar situation.

Yep Im always armed in them CL buy & sales to. I dont go any where to sell stuff either. I have had people try & get me to meet them & I always tell them no. Its still risky even going to people house to look at bikes that are advertised but I try to stay really aware & keep my cash his out in the truck untill we make some kind of deal.
