Beginning to ride with my fazer

Over the course of a few months and with the help of some forums I’ve finally got my fazer 700 running and driving. However, after 2 days of driving, lo and behold my fuel pump ***** out (I bypassed it and keep the tank full as much as possible to keep driving, at least until the new pump gets here lol!). I swapped the sprockets for a 15/45 setup and dropped the front 10mm, it corners a little better and takes off like a rocket, I’m glad I didn’t go with the max as my first bike as I’m still learning the limits of this bike. (On a closed course of course)
At 6’0” it’s a little small, but doable.

LOL. The FZR1000 conversion makes them really really fun! If you don't mind issues with keeping the wheel on the ground that is.

Once the motor goes, that’ll be swapped in or a 911 will be built. Whichever comes first I suppose lol

OH dealer, asking $5K for a 17K miles bike, looks clean.

Clean enough but might be a touch on the high side. Then again there aren't many left that clean.

I've seen that bike on my last 2 visits to Williams Cycle. It's very nice, but frankly, everything is priced a bit high at that dealer, compared to private ads. They have a nice '86 Vmax and the guy hadn't priced it yet. Someone asked when I was there and the guy said "I haven't finished my research yet, but somewhere in the $5-10k range.

Still, it's a fun place to visit because they lots of really nice old bikes for sale, like going to a museum where you can buy the exhibits.
