Best way to drain fuel tank?

moving to south carolina. puttin' the bike in a uhaul and need to drain the gas to do so. what's the best way of doing this? thanks!

Mine has a drain plug on the bottom of the tank.

If you have stock exhaust you'll need to remove mufflers to get to drain plug. Siphoning works fine.

I have the kerker pipes. Should prob just get off my lazy butt and go look.

The COOLEST way is to use a wetvac. You could use the air exhaust as a flame thrower.

got it drained. flipped to reserve and the pump went bonkers. how tight should that drain plug be? when tightening it, it seemed like it wanted to go more, but i really felt like i was pushing it.

I siphoned mine. Took some time to get it all out since I used a small diameter tubing but it worked well and was not messy at all.
