Hey All...

Long time "Pitchman", Billy Mays died today in Florida at age 50.
The man who did commercials and infomercials on everything from an "environmentally friendly cleaning product line" to "Roto tillers for your garden", has died from unknown causes.
According to MyFOXTampa.com, Mays was aboard a U.S. Airways flight that blew out both front tires while landing at Tampa airport on Saturday.

Also according to MyFOXTampa.com US Airways spokesman Jim Olson said that "none of the 138 passengers and five crew members were injured in the incident, but several passengers reported having bumps and bruises", according to the station.
Natasha Richardson, who died in March had something similar happen to her. She hit her head in a skiing accident. She didn't accept medial treatment and died as a result. As the cause of death is unknown at this time, we can't say for sure that this what happened here.
Mays starred along with Anthony Sullivan starred on "Discover Channels, Pitchmen". On the "Pitchmen" website there is mention of Mays death and that all will miss him.

A good video of him...

You might say he got Kaboom'ed. On a serious note; Head injuries are something else.

Anyone to takes a hit should get checked out. In the late 70's we were playing baseball at the park and a kid took a hit to the head from a line drive. It knocked him for a loop right then and there, but he seemed fine afterwards. A couple days later his mom found him dead in the shower.

Its a shame he died, he seemed like a good guy, and prayers out to his wife and family. It has to be traumatic to find your spouse dead.

Geese I wonder if Michael, Heather and Bill are hanging out at the pearly gates together... waiting to get in. Now that would be an interesting conversation to eaves-drop on. Think Mike's taking the elevator down.

I didn`t hear anything about it but , it is very sad because he only stood behind products that really worked although he was a bit loud LOL.

We never did buy anything from him, although... I was really tempted with the Ka-Boom! We enjoyed his commercials. Always a good laugh. I'm going to miss him, myself. "Billy Mays here!" and, "Here's how to order!" The guy could sell anything. Don't know if there'll ever be a replacement. My heart goes out to his family.

I heard that! What a bummer! Amazing how people get wrapped up in that shit.

Food has and will always be my weakness...

I know what it's liked to be addicted.
