bought anther 85

Well i now own another 85 the same one i owned last year. It was stolen and they recovered it. It did not have ins so it still has a clean title. Its been sitting about 3 months. I need to clean the carbs and make sure she stll runs as good as when i sold her. If she does i have to put a new gas tank in and lockset and give it a good look over. Sold it for 2700 last year and got it back for 300 im pretty happy. It will probably be for sale again soon.

It did not have any insurance on it when stolen so it still has a clean title. It has a broken blinker, broke brake lever,bent shifter and a scratched pipe,scraped scoop other than that it still looks pretty much like when i sold it

Damn , wish I woulda known . I provide gates & operators for the airport quite often . I'm on the tarmac checking 'em out when they get hit or quit working and the maint. dept calls me for guidance / recommendations.

View attachment 32740Well went out Monday & put some fresh gas & an ignition switch in here & she fired right up. I took it for a quick ride to make sure it still shifted good & it was still fine so I begin fixing the stuff they messed up when it was stold. I put new handlebars,new footpeg,new rear signals,new lock set,new grips Done some cleaning and painting. The fuel pump is leaking a bit & the switch housing on the starter side works when it wants. I am gonna fix the fuel pump & switch today & change the oil & coolant & it should be good to go again.

I went out and rode it most of the afternoon yesterday. I dont like the corbin or the super bars. Other than the speedo breaking it ran fine. Gonna change the speedo this moring & go ride some more.
