This 1987 Buick GNX is #480 of 547 produced for the single model year and shows only 8.5 miles. Ralph’s Buick in Mena, Arkansas originally sold the car in 1987, and it was subsequently displayed in the showroom of a Texas dealership. The vehicle has not been driven since. The seller acquired this GNX in 2002 and has reportedly stored it in a climate-controlled showroom. The Grand National Experimental was made in partnership with McLaren Performance Technologies/ASC and features an upgraded powertrain, suspension, and instrumentation. The turbocharged 3.8-liter V6 is mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission, and the two-tone cloth interior on this example retains factory protective plastic coverings. The sale includes the original window sticker, factory owner’s manual and warranty booklet, and a clean Wisconsin title in the seller’s name.
