I agree, can't miss that supercharged sound. Unfrigging believable acceleration. I've seen a couple in action.

A supercharged Gen 1 will take a stock Gen 2....so yeah, they're pretty darn tootin' fast.

I disagree. I've ridden both a supercharged 1428 gen 1 and his gen 2 and feel the match up is close. That video was done by a friend named Paul Novak which the bike is now owned by My Novie. There are a couple of other vids he made at the same time. I've also got pics of the bike in various stages of build (and even have the heads from his original 1500 that was in the bike).

Sean, I dont get it? You told me about a stroker motor with nos. ( 200 hp motor & 300 hp motor + nos). I never did ask if that was crank or wheel power? :ummm:
I would think with this motor I could put the woopin on a Gen 2 or a Busa?:confused2:
How does this all work? Is the supercharger on a stock motor?

Pauls engine (or now Bob's), made 190ish rwhp and 130ish ft lbs of torque last I knew. BUT, it was pushing the limits on the supercharger and was (supposed to be) using alcohol injection to cool the charge when under full boost.

On a stock engine the system is not very efficient and creates a lot of heat (which kills hp). I've actually run against stock engines with the superchargers and wasn't all that impressed (other then the look and sound). Even at the Thompson drags I was actually running about a half second faster with a stock bike with Kerker and one of our jet kits (a lot of that is rider but I think his MPH wasn't much better anyway).

The bike in the video is most assuredly faster then most gen 2's.

I do have a 1500 longrod engine that I am either going to use or sell (wouldn't mind selling and we will build a stroker motor to replace it). It was making 200 on engine and 300 on the nitrous. It was running 8.30's at 160rwhp.
