got my carbs out. split them all apart for a mega cleaning. wondering about jets i have in it. no markings on the main. the long one in behind rubber plug says 9a, pilot is 7.5.

i got a k&n with kerker slip ons. wondering what jetting should be in the carbs and if it has a jet kit or not. has adjustable needle with no markings on it, clip is in 3rd position. i live in MA. bought the k&l gasket and oring kit but now i need more, i want to only have to do these carbs one time. and help would be appreciated.

i also need intake boots and new slide diaphragms. there mega expensive it seems. would also like to replace cut off valves. any good place to get these parts at a decent price?

thanks
josh

Sean Morley for boots.
Id talk to him about the slides and cutoff valves too. Sudco sells them pretty reasonably. He is a sudco dealer

If Sean does not come through, I continually find good prices at Boats.net

Not a typo, it's a boat place that has the factory cycle microfiche parts catalog. Check it out and bookmark it.

I do sell new slides for $75 each. I know I am sending a set out in the morning and not sure if I have another set immediately on hand (will be getting more in next week I think). Jets don't sound like anything I have heard of? Adjustable needles will either be dynojet or factory pro. It's possible you could have some canadian needles I guess? You could take a pic of the stuff and we can try and ID them.

OK, so let's see the top and bottom side of the main jet.
The pilot fuel jet OEM size is 37.5 which looks like what you likely have.
The emulsion jet is stock from what I can see (and never really changed).
We need to see the tip/pointy end of the needle but I can tell you it's OLD from what it appears to e make from (aluminum) compared to most current needles (titanium).

The exhaust appears to be a slip-on system though again not enough in the pic (maybe something from the front/side too)
