ok the carbs have sat for a couple of months now, heres the issue. the bike idles and revs ok but i get a occasional backfire at idle or just above and it just doesnt run as good as it used to, although it was pretty rich...
also i can look down in the carbs with the filters off and there seems to be a ton of fuel coming around the needle in cylinder #4 at idle. i can not see any fuel in the rest at idle. when i blip the throttle there seems to be fuel flowing in all carbs.
mods are kerker 421, stage 7, k&n pod filters, and no v boost.
i have ordered a sycro tool for four cylinders.
***edit***been doing some reading and i may try the shot gun cleaning method. the worst part is three of the idle mixture screws are locked in place and the heads are very damaged from previous owner!!! this is going to be a big aggervation to remove, any suggestions? I have soaked it pb blaster for now. if i can get them out i will replace them.
